Critical Mass July 2008 was a partial celebration of the life of Atip Ouypron.  I did not know him very well, but I've met him and seen him out and about.  It is very sad that he died, and my condolences to everyone in his family and all close friends and relatives.

We did have some good news coverage about the event, and I hope that more and more people will participate in getting the word out about this event that happens the last friday of every month, and meets at balboa fountain by Reuben H. Fleet museum.

cat dirt sez posted up a new muslims mp3. they are definitely bringing back the dirty, loose rock reminiscent of early 80's punk with an obvious nod to the velvet underground. one of the most refreshing bands to come out of san diego for some time.
